2012 Jamaican Festival & Bathtub Races

On August 31, September 1 & September 2 at Pensacola Beach's Quietwater area, two band stages were used (the Clamshell and Bamboo Willies) and Jamaican music was the theme.  On Sunday, September 2, the annual Bathtub Races were held on the Sound just outside Bamboo Willies.  The homemade styrofoam "bathtub" named Yellow Submarine (below) won the homemade division.  Click on the panoramic photo at the bottom for a huge version of that picture (10 megs).  Notice that bathtubs are racing around the white floats (right center).
